Police Charge McLean Man with Sending Inappropriate Communications

Police say McLean man knew Gainesville teen.

A McLean man has been arrested for allegedly sending inappropriate communications to a juvenile, according to a crime report released Monday by Prince William County Police.

Police have arrested and charged Jonathan Brittin, 23, of Ingleside Avenue in McLean, with use of communications systems to facilitate certain offenses involving children.

Last Wednesday, on April 22, detectives with Prince William County’s Special Victims Unit concluded an investigation regarding the accused allegedly sending inappropriate communications to a juvenile female of Gainesville, according to police.

Police say the alleged incident occurred on Wednesday, April 1. The accused was arrested without incident, according to police. The accused was known to the victim, police said.

His court date is pending and bond information was not released.
