Police Chase Stolen Vehicles In Tysons, 1 In Custody
The Fairfax County Police helicopter searched for the suspects early Friday after they fled from the vehicles.

TYSONS, VA — A pursuit of four stolen vehicles led to one person being caught by officers early Friday in Tysons, according to Fairfax County Police.
Around 2:57 a.m., an officer checked on three Tesla sedans and a Mitsubishi SUV stopped in the road around Leesburg Pike and Gosnell Road. Drivers in three vehicles sped away, leaving one unoccupied Tesla behind. Police pursued the SUV and lost sight of it temporarily.
The SUV and another stolen vehicle were found abandoned in the 8200 block of Little River Turnpike in Annandale. The other stolen vehicle had been crashed into a concrete barrier near Leesburg Pike and the Capital Beltway in Tysons.

The driver who crashed the vehicle into the barrier fled. The Fairfax County police helicopter searched for the suspects, and one man was taken into custody. The man's identity has not been released, as charges have not been placed. Charges are pending further investigation.
