Police Respond to Late-Night Robbery at Local Store over Holiday Weekend

The incident occurred just after midnight on Saturday, Sept. 5, and the case is still under investigation.

Fairfax County Police responded to a robbery at a business in the McLean Police District last Saturday, and are still investigating the case.

Authorities responded to the business’ security alarm after it was triggered at approximately 12:45 a.m. Upon responding to the scene on the 9100 block of Lee Highway, Police found a front door broken and determined property had been taken from inside.

There are no suspects at this time.

  • A resident on the 2800 block of Grovemore Lane contacted police on Friday, Sept. 4, and reported an unknown person broke into the home and took property. Police are still investigating the incident.

Larcenies:

  • 9400 block of Blake Lane, cash and property from residence.
  • 1400 block of Chain Bridge Road, merchandise from business.
  • 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, merchandise from business.
  • 2200 block of Idylwood Station Lane, property and cash from vehicle.
  • 6800 block of Melrose Drive, property from vehicle.
  • 1200 block of Oak Ridge Avenue, property from business.
  • 1300 block of Potomac School Road, property from school.
  • 6800 block of Rosemont Drive, cash from vehicle.
  • 7200 block of Timber Lane, property from residence.
  • 8100 block of Tysons Corner Center, phone from business.

STOLEN VEHICLES:

  • 2100 block of Dominio Heights Court, 2015 Toyota Highlander.
  • 8100 block of Ransell Road, 2015 Ford Taurus.
