Pool Season: When Pools Are Open Around McLean In 2022

MCLEAN, VA — Warm weather is starting to stick around, and many area residents are likely eager for the pool season to begin.

For many outdoor pools around McLean, openings typically begin Memorial Day weekend. Hours may be limited when Fairfax County Public Schools is in session.

There are various options for outdoor pools near McLean, largely membership-based swim clubs. Below are the pools and their hours for the summer.

McLean Swim & Tennis Association, 1700 Margie Dr, McLean, VA (membership only)

• Open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend
• While FCPS is in session (through June 10): 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekends and holidays, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays
• While FCPS is not in session (after June 10 and before Aug. 22): 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to p.m. weekends, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 4
• Aug. 22 to Labor Day weekend: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekends, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Labor Day
