Primark Opens 1st VA Location In Tysons Corner Center: Photos
International clothing retailer Primark opened its Tysons Corner Center location on Tuesday, boasting 35,000 square feet of retail space.
TYSONS, VA — With the ribbon-cutting of its location in Tysons Corner Center on Tuesday, international clothing retailer Primark celebrated the opening of its first store in Virginia.
“Today’s store opening marks an important milestone for us, not only being the first Primark in Virginia, but a store so close to the U.S. capital city of Washington, D.C.” said Kevin Tulip, president of Primark US. “We've seen DMV shoppers’ demand for quality fashion and everyday essentials at affordable prices. Opening Primark’s doors at Tysons Corner Center will offer something for every shopper and we are excited to get to know our new customers.”
Primark's Tysons Corner location offers 35,000 square feet of retail space where customer's can shop for the latest fashion trends and essentials for the whole family, as well as homewares and beauty supplies.

In addition to opening a location at Arundel Mills in Hanover, Maryland, Primark has signed leases for future stores at Potomac Mills in Virginia and The Mall at Prince George’s in Maryland.
To celebrate its new Tysons Corner Center store, Primark has planned activities this weekend, including food trucks from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. SpongeBob SquarePants will be making an appearance on Sunday as well.
