Raw Fish Stored Over Cooked Food: Restaurant Inspections In McLean

Health inspectors found one restaurant not routinely checking for cockroaches and more at McLean area restaurants.

MCLEAN, VA -- Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from recent inspections in May. Among the violations were foods not dated, employees handling food without gloves and raw fish stored over cooked food.
