Resident, Firefighter Injured In Great Falls Blaze
A firefighter and resident suffered minor injuries from the two-alarm fire Wednesday morning.

GREAT FALLS, VA—A resident and firefighter were injured in a house fire Wednesday morning in Great Falls.
Around 11 a.m., Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to the fire in the 900 block of Holly Blossom Court. Units found heavy fire coming from the garage of the two-story home. The fire progressed to two alarms, and Loudoun County firefighters arrived to assist. It took about 30 minutes to get the fire under control.
One resident was rescued and treated for smoke inhalation, said Battalion Chief Kit Hessel. A firefighter suffered minor injuries.

The extent of damages was not immediately known. Fire investigators are looking into the cause of the blaze.
