Rivals Langley, McLean to Meet on the Football Field Nov. 7 at Langley

For the 2014 football season, rival high schools Langley and McLean will meet up on the football field Friday, Nov. 7 at Langley High School. Both high schools are located in McLean.

Led by head coach John Howerton, the Langley Saxons (be sure to wear your dark green and gold to the game) will play an away game with Yorktown for its varsity football season opener on Friday, Sept. 5. Here’s a look at the rest of the schedule:

10/2: Marshall at Langley

10/10: at Fairfax

10/17: South Lakes at Langley

10/24: at Jefferson

10/31: Madison at Langley

Led by new head football Coach Shaun Blair, the McLean Highlanders (their colors are red and silver, if you’re wondering what to wear to the game) will play an away game as well for their season opener, with another Arlington team, Washington-Lee, at Washington-Lee, on Friday, Sept. 5.
