Tom Arnold And Mark Burnett Brawl Over Trump Tapes
Actor Tom Arnold and "The Apprentice" producer Mark Burnett got into an altercation at an Emmy event over "The Hunt For The Trump Tapes."

LOS ANGELES, CA — Actor Tom Arnold and producer Mark Burnett got into a fight at a pre-Emmy Awards charity event Sunday over the actor's efforts to uncover 0ff-camera audio recordings of comments President Donald Trump made while filming "The Apprentice."
Arnold is premiering a TV show, "The Hunt For The Trump Tapes," about him hounding "The Apprentice" producer and his staff for long-rumored tapes of the president allegedly spouting homophobic, racist and sexist comments off-camera while filming his television show. Burnett has long maintained he is legally barred from releasing any of the off-camera footage from "The Apprentice." Last month, Trump tweeted that Burnett assured him no such tape existed after disgruntled former aide Omarosa Manigault Newman publicly claimed to have access to a recording of the president using a racial epithet.
An argument over the tape allegedly turned physical at the star-studded fundraiser for the Motion Picture Television Fund at the Lawn at Century Park Sunday.

Burnett's wife has a different take on the altercation, accusing Arnold of ambushing her husband at the charity event. She tweeted a photo of a bruise on her hand she said got defending herself in the melee.
"Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event. Is your TV show worth it Tom? Please stop," Downey tweeted.

The Hunt For The Trump Tapes," premiers Tuesday on Viceland. A promo on Twitter teases: "Here's Who Tom Arnold Is Bothering," and Mark Burnett is included on that list. The series reportedly shows Arnold protesting outside Burnett's offices and attempting to verify the existence of the tapes through interviews with staffers.
“I’m going to do this until he resigns,” Arnold said of Trump during a July news conference, according to the Los Angeles Times. “He is a crazy person. He is putting our country on the precipice of a war right now. There are things going on right now that affect our world that are scary, and I, for some reason, am in a position to do something that’s working.”
