Silver Line Delivers Shopping Boom at Tysons Corner
A more convenient trip for locals and tourists is growing business at shopping destination.

A lot can be said for the easier commute that Metro’s new Silver Line is offering residents. But the trains are also offering Washington, D.C., a new route to some of in-demand locations in Northern Virginia.
For example, business appears to be booming at Tysons Corner shops, according to a NBC Washington report.
A Tysons Corner Center spokesperson told NBC that retailers are reporting double-digit sales increases.

NBC Washington also spoke with a store employee who has been able to cut his commute in half, as well as foreign tourists who hopped on the train after hearing about the shopping opportunities at Tysons.
