TYSONS, VA — Northern Virginia foodies will soon have a new fast-casual destination for fun and delicious food.

On Tuesday, Feb. 17, Sweetgreen is scheduled to open a new 3,030-square-foot location at 8405 Leesburg Pike in Tysons.

To celebrate opening day, guests can enjoy plants from@botanologica and Seasonal Light Bites from @localprovisions, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m, while supplies last.

As part of the celebration, @botanologica will be hosting an exclusive succulent garden workshop from 6 to 7 p.m. Sign ups available here, with limited availability.

Open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, the new Pike Plaza location will be "serving up fan-favorite salads, warm bowls, protein plates, and sides — including the Harvest Bowl, Crispy Rice Bowl, Caramelized Garlic Steak, and Miso Glazed Salmon," according to a company release.

"Plus, guests can rejoice in the return of feta—the most requested ingredient is back by popular demand, now part of Sweetgreen’s core menu," according to Sweetgreen. "It joins the new Winter Harvest Bowl, a bold seasonal twist on the beloved Harvest Bowl, available in select markets."

For every meal purchased on opening day, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to Food for Others to help nourish people in Northern Virginia experiencing food insecurity.
