Teen's Death: Heroin Dealer Convicted for Selling Drugs
Emylee Lonczak, 16, of McLean, was found dead in August 2013.

A Washington, D.C., drug dealer has been convicted of selling the potent heroin that led to the death last summer of McLean teen Emylee Lonczak.
Antowan Thorne, 37, was convicted Wednesday during a bench trial, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The charges focused on 100 grams of heroin Thorne sold to northern Virginia residents in 2012 and 2013.
It was a potent drug that Emylee and Kyle Alifom reportedly purchased from Thorne Aug. 21, 2013.

Emylee, 16, passed out and later died; the state medical examiner ruled her death “accidental,” and said she had a reaction from the mix of heroin and an over-the-counter antihistamine.
Alifom has been sentenced to 80 months in prison for hiding Lonczak’s body after her overdose.
