Thanksgiving, Black Friday 2018 Mall Hours In Tysons Corner

TYSONS CORNER, VA—The two malls in Tysons Cornerhave have made different decisions about Thanksgiving and Black Friday hours to kick off the holiday shopping season.

Tysons Corner Center, the larger of the two, will be open for 28 hours straight. This year, the mall opens at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22 and will remain open Friday, Nov. 23 from midnight-10 p.m.

Across Chain Bridge Road, Tysons Galleria will be closed on Thanksgiving. On Black Friday, hours will be 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

Each store sets its own schedule, so it's best to check beforehand. Shoppers can check individual store hours in the Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria directories, store websites or BlackFriday.com.

Nationally, there's a mix of retailers opening and closing on Thanksgiving. Retailers such as A.C. Moore, Barnes & Noble, Marshalls and Nordstrom will be closed, as well as grocery stores like BJ's Wholesale Club, Costco, Sam's Club and Trader Joe's. Other stores like JC Penney, Target, GameStop, Macy's and Old Navy will open in the afternoon on Thanksgiving.
