The pick for Virginia is more commonly known as the "Toilet Bowl Building."

TYSONS CORNER, VA—A new Business Insider report looks at the good, the bad and the ugly in terms of buildings around the U.S. Well, maybe just the ugly.

The publication asked readers to name the ugliest buildings in each state and Washington, DC. "Every town across the United States likely has a tower, a government complex, or an office building that residents wish never went up," states Business Insider.

The readers' picks ranges from a giant picnic basket serving as a business headquarters to some well-known landmarks like Madison Square Garden, Boston City Hall and The Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle.
