Train Stuck in Tunnel Causes Metrorail Delays

An Orange Line train was stuck between the Courthouse and Roslyn stations Wednesday morning, creating a backup of commuters.

Metrorail experienced delays Wednesday morning when a train got stuck in a tunnel between the Courthouse and Roslyn stations along the Orange Line.

A “packed” Silver Line train was called upon to assist in freeing the stagnant Orange Line train, causing the Silver Line’s cars to unload passengers, worsening delays in the process.

Metrorail announced the Orange Line train was back in commission approximately 30 minutes after the previous tweet was published.
