Two Horses Found Wandering Along Great Falls Intersection

Fairfax County Police respond to a number of different calls in a given day or week, but one call they received Wednesday has to be among the most unique in recent memory.

A Great Falls resident spotted two horses that had wandered away from home and were walking along a road in Great Falls on Wednesday. The driver stopped and contacted police, who published the following tweet Wednesday night in search of the horses’ owner (or owners.)

Between word of mouth and the magic of social media, Police were able to track down the horses’ owners in less than 12 hours, returning the horses to their home safe and sound.
