TYSONS, VA — Tysons Corner Center has one less full service dining option after the closure of BRIO Tuscan Grille. It's one of the business changes at Tysons Corner Center, the region's busiest mall.

The closure was not announced, but the Tysons location is listed as permanently closed on OpenTable. The location at Fair Oaks Mall is the only BRIO Tuscan Grille left in Northern Virginia. The other Virginia location is in Richmond.

BRIO Tuscan Grille specializes in northern Italian food, serving soups, salads, pastas, steaks and more. The Tysons location served an all-day menu along with lunch and weekend brunch service.

Another recent closure was Lord & Taylor, leaving Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom as the remaining anchor department stores at the mall. Lord & Taylor announced in late 2019 that the Dulles Town Center location was also closing.

The mall announced a few upcoming retail and dining openings. Cotton On, an Australian retailer selling clothing and stationery, will be on the second level across from Oakley and Abercrombie & Fitch. B8TA, a store allowing customers to try new, innovate products out of the box, operated in a kiosk near Bloomingdale's but will open a storefront on the first level near Kids Foot Locker and Abercrombie Kids.
