TYSONS, VA. — Sisters Tysons will host a weekly Songkran dining event on Fridays in April, pairing a family-style Thai menu with live traditional dance performances at its Capital One Center restaurant.

The ticketed series is scheduled for Fridays starting April 17, with seatings at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., according to a release. Tickets cost $99 per person and must be purchased in advance through Resy. Seating is limited for each service because of the format of the meal and performance.

The event is tied to Songkran, the Thai New Year. Sisters Tysons said the experience will center on a "Sumrub Kubkhao" family-style set menu curated by Chef de Cuisine France Trungchitman and designed to highlight dishes from several regions of Thailand.

"Songkran is more than just a festival; it is a time of renewal and the warmth of coming together over a shared meal," said Tammy Ditsayawathana, founder of Sisters Group. "With this experience, we wanted to share not only the depth of Thai cuisine across regions, but also the beauty of our cultural traditions through food, performance, and hospitality."

The menu will include Moo Hong from southern Thailand, described as pork belly braised in a savory-sweet reduction with star anise and cinnamon; Larb Ped from the Northeast, made with minced duck, lime, chili and toasted ground rice; and Nam Prik Noom from the North, a roasted green chili dip. The Central Plain dish will be Gaeng Ranjuan, an herbal pork soup seasoned with shrimp paste and lemongrass, served with coconut jasmine rice, according to a release. Dessert will be mango gelato with chili salt.

The business said guests who buy tickets before April 13 will receive a 15 percent discount. Reservations for the event are available only through Resy.
