Tysons Welcomes GRVTY Headquarters, 200 New Jobs
Gov. Abigail Spanberger announced GRVTY's $8 million investment for a new Tysons headquarters and 200 new jobs.

RICHMOND, VA — Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D) announced on Tuesday that GRVTY, a Virginia-based defense technology company, will invest $8 million to establish a new headquarters in Tysons.
The company plans to build out more than 22,000 square feet of office space at 8270 Greensboro Drive. This expansion is expected to create 200 new highly skilled jobs in Virginia, including engineers, technologists, scientists, and corporate staff.
GRVTY's work centers on cyber, space, and spectrum national security missions. The company currently employs nearly 1,000 people. The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with Fairfax County to secure the project for the Commonwealth.

Spanberger approved an $800,000 grant from the Commonwealth’s Opportunity Fund to assist Fairfax County with the project. Additionally, funding and services to support the company’s employee training activities will be provided through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program.
“Congratulations to GRVTY on its rapid scaling — an incredible testament to the Commonwealth’s world-class talent and proximity to innovators, customers, and decision-makers," Spanberger said. “This project will create 200 new jobs and further strengthen Northern Virginia’s leadership at the intersection of national security and advanced technology.”

“Industry leaders choose to establish their headquarters in Virginia because we offer what innovative companies value most: a deep talent pipeline, world-class infrastructure, and the ability to move at speed," Secretary of Commerce and Trade Carrie Chenery said.
“This facility will serve as the company’s hub to drive operational excellence, engage with customers, and advance the development of critical technologies in cyber, space, and spectrum," GRVTY CEO Katie Selbe said.
Local lawmakers who represent the Tysons area joined in welcoming GRVTY to the Tysons neighborhood.
“Fairfax County has built a strategically aligned environment for companies operating at the intersection of national security and advanced technology," said Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeffrey C. McKay (D-At-large), adding that the county’s proximity to decision-makers and a deep talent base make it a natural home for mission-driven technology companies.
Sen. Saddam Salim (D-Fairfax) and Del. Holly Seibold (D-Vienna) also welcomed GRVTY to the community, highlighting the region's talent pool and commitment to smart growth.
