Uber Driver Carjacked In Tysons Corner

BREAKING: An Uber driver was carjacked at gunpoint near Tysons Corner Center Sunday night.

TYSONS CORNER, VA -- An Uber driver had his car stolen when he was held at gunpoint at the 8100 block of Leesburg Pike near Tysons Corner Center Sunday night.

Around 10:08 p.m., the Uber driver was parked in a rear parking lot at the above address waiting for a new rider. The unknown suspect walked up to the car and demanded money. The victim said he had no money, and the suspect pointed a handgun and ordered the victim out of the car. The Uber driver got out and the suspect drove away.

The car is a silver 2012 Nissan Versa, and the suspect was described as Hispanic, around 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 210 pounds and wearing a mask.
