Monday in McLean: What's Fairfax County Doing for our Growing 55+ Community?

Come hear The Community Action Plan architect share how the program will address our growing population on Monday, October 6, 2014 in McLean

On Monday, October 6, 2014, Sharon Lynn, Director of The Fairfax Area on Aging, will present the Community Action Plan at the Lewinsville Presbyterian Church, 1724 Chain Bridge Rd., McLean, VA 22101 starting at 6:45 PM.

Between 2005 and 2030, the county expects the 55+ community to increase by 40 percent and the 70 and over population by 88 percent. Come hear how the Action Plan addresses the following critical areas impacting us who are Seniors, our friends, neighbors and where applicable, caregivers:

  • Safe and Healthy Community
  • Housing
  • Transportation
  • Community Engagement
  • Services for Older Adults and Caregivers
  • Long-Range Planning & Trends Analysis
