World Champion Boxer Accused Of Assault At Tysons Mall
A magistrate issued a warrant charging world boxing champion Gervonta Davis with assault.

TYSONS, VA—A Fairfax County magistrate issued a warrant for two-time world champion boxer Gervonta Davis relating to an alleged assault at a Tysons mall.
According to police, the assault happened Feb. 17 at Tysons Galleria. Police responded to the mall but did not witness the assault, The Washington Post reported. For that reason, the victim had to report his story to the magistrate for Davis to be charged. Davis and the victim did not know each other.
On Feb. 27, the magistrate issued the warrant charging Davis with assault, a misdemeanor. Police have unsuccessfully attempted to contact Davis to serve the warrant.
