World Cup Champion Ali Krieger Coming to Tysons Corner

The Microsoft store in Tysons Corner Center is hosting a day-long celebration of the new Windows 10 operating system today, July 29, and Ali Krieger — star of the U.S. Women’s World Cup championship soccer team — will be on hand for the celebration from 7-8:30 p.m.

The day will also include a community reception from 4-6 p.m. that will honor local non-profit organizations that “upgrade” our world on a daily basis. House Studio and DaVinci Challenge are among the groups that will be honored in the reception.

Speaking of upgrades, the store’s Answer Desk will be open all day. Staff members will answer any questions about upgrading to the new operating system, and will provide free upgrade assessments on all devices.

Free Windows 10 workshops will be available throughout the day as well, giving customers a chance to not only see what Windows 10 can do, but how easily it can do what it does.
