You're Invited: McLean Playground to Celebrate Restoration

Join Fairfax County Park Authority officials, Friends of Clemyjontri Park Saturday, Dec. to celebrate the nearly $1 million in repairs to Clemyjontri Park in McLean.

The special celebration is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. The event will feature music, crafts, hot chocolate, a visit from Frying Pan Farm Park’s animals and the annual Santa Paws photo event.

A brief ceremony will be held at 1 p.m.

The Park Authority is joining with the Friends of Clemyjontri Park and the Fairfax County Park Foundation to make this a very special event. We ask that visitors to the park bring a new, unwrapped toy for the United States Marine Corps’ “Toys for Tots” program. This is a wonderful opportunity to share some holiday cheer with those less fortunate.

Clemyjontri Park is located at 6317 Georgetown Pike in McLean, Virginia.
