• Dog with untreated broken legs found in New Kent; sheriff seeks information (pilotonline.com) — New Kent deputies are asking for tips after a dog, now called Fred, was found along Route 60 with two untreated broken front legs and multiple buckshot wounds. He’s receiving veterinary care through the New Kent Sheriff’s Office Animal Protection Unit, which is trying to identify his owner and how he was injured.
