• An Additional 40 Virginia Localities Receive USDA Drought Disaster Designations (virginianreview.com) — King William farmers are now officially eligible for USDA drought disaster assistance, including potential emergency loans through the Farm Service Agency. The designation follows severe drought conditions across Virginia and gives producers eight months from the disaster declaration date to apply. Local growers can find details and application guidance on the Virginia FSA website.
