First Mother's Day without Dad

I have been a mom for over fifteen years.  I'll skip the cliches except this one, 'it has been the most rewarding, wonderful and challenging experience I could ever ask for.'

My husband and I recently separated after many years of unhappiness.  The girls seem to be doing well, very well actually. 

This will be my first Mother's Day as a trio...the girls and I.  Will my estranged husband assure that they have cards for me or a little gift?  Honestly, it doesn't matter.  All I want is to spend time with them...hang out, eat at Santini's.

Even though this is a tumultous time in my life, I must be grateful for all the gifts I have.  I have my daughters.  I don't need anything else.
