The Vesper Court Trail project is federally funded, and actually serves as just one of more than 20 components of the Tyson Metro Station Access Study (TMSAS). The TMSAS includes a series of projects like the Vesper Court Trail project that are aimed at connecting surrounding neighborhoods with the budding urban center in Tysons.
Since the arrival of Metrorail’s Silver Line with four stops in the Tysons area, the city has made walkability and bicycle access a priority, allowing those who commute to Tysons Corner on the Metro the chance to enjoy the entire town without a car.
