On May 18th at Nottoway Park in Vienna (4-7), the Hitmen is hosting the areas first Futures Clinic. Here, parents will get an understanding about Travel Baseball from one of the areas longest and most successful Baseball Coaches, Russell Pahl. Here the 6th and 7th graders will learn what Travel baseball is all about, the pace and commitment required to become HS and college players. Whether one is on a travel team or is seeking to understand the difference in the Travel Models, the player and Family will walk away armed with an idea what they should be looking for in the transition to the larger diamond. For registration, see www.hitmen-baseball.com. Again this is a clinic for both the parent and the player, not a Tryout. Tryouts for the Fall season will be announced and posted in late May for the late June and early July series. The clinic is free and open to all aspiring and committed 6th and 7th graders.
