Oakton House Fire Quickly Extinguished By Fairfax Firefighters

OAKTON, VA — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel were able to quickly bring a house fire under control in the 10600 block of Oakton Ridge Court on Wednesday afternoon, according to a post on the department's official X account.

When units arrived on the scene around 3 p.m., fire was showing from a single-family home.

"Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack, conducted searchs, and brought the fire under control within approximately 30 minutes," according to the social media post.

No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported. Information about the cause of the fire and extent of the damage has not been released.
