Oakton T-Shirt Fundraiser Helps Businesses Amid Pandemic

After success with a fundraiser for Vienna businesses, French Press Printing is raising funds for Oakton businesses.

OAKTON, VA — Residents can show local pride through a T-shirt fundraiser for Oakton businesses financially impacted by the coronavirus crisis. French Press Printing is hosting the fundraiser after a similar fundraiser for Vienna businesses.

French Press Printing owner Sarah Bohn coordinated the fundraisers for Vienna and Oakton businesses to help brick-and-mortar businesses with costs such as employee pay and rent. T-shirts are designed with the words "Our Town Oakton #supportinglocalbusiness" on the front and logos of businesses on the back.

Net proceeds from shirt sales will be divided between 10 businesses. One other business, Helbing Lipp Recny Architects, is featured on the shirt but is forgoing funds.
