Alexandria Man Sentenced For Revenge Killing
DiJuan Clark, who confessed to killing a man he believes murdering his brother in Alexandria, was sentenced to prison.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—An Alexandria man who pled guilty a revenge killing has been sentenced. DiJuan Marquie Clark, 32, faces 31 years in prison after pleading guilty in March to killing Saquan Hall, who was the suspect in the murder of Clark's brother. Clark was also ordered to pay $5,000 for Hall's funeral expenses.
On July 2, 2016, Clark spotted Hall at the 1000 block of First Street in Old Town and began shooting at him, according to the Alexandria Commonwealth's Attorney. Clark continued to chase Hall down, eventually striking him down and shooting him in the head. Hall was pronounced dead later at the hospital.
Authorities found DiJuan Clark in North Carolina on July 21, 2016, and he was arrested by Alexandria Police.

Hall was the suspect in the June 9, 2016 murder of Clark's brother Pierre. Pierre Clark was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the upper body and was pronounced dead a short time later at Inova Alexandria Hospital. Alexandria Police closed the Pierre Clark murder investigation in May since Hall is no longer alive.
“It is my sincere and fervent hope that the significant sentence handed down by the Court in this case marks the end of a futile cycle of violence and revenge – a cycle that produced only misery and ruined lives," said Commonwealth's Attorney Bryan Porter. “While Dijuan Clark apparently believed that Mr. Hall was responsible for his brother’s murder, the rule of law cannot countenance citizens settling personal disputes by resorting to gunfire."
