Alexandria Primary Election 2017: Voting Hours, Polling Places, Sample Ballot, More
Here's what you need to know before heading to the polls on Election Day in Old Town Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Virginia's primary election is Tuesday, June 13 and Alexandria residents will be heading to the polls to choose the next governor.
Virginia is only one of two states with elections this year, so the results will be one of the first voter responses to how the Trump administration is doing. Gov. Terry McAuliffe cannot serve consecutive terms according to Virginia law, so Ralph Northam and Tom Perriello are vying for the Democratic nomination. Ed Gillespie, Corey Stewart and Frank Wagner are running for the Republican nomination.

All House of Delegates seats are up for election this year, but Alexandria's representatives are running unopposed in the primary. Attorney General Mark Herring is also up for re-election but is unopposed in the primary.
