"Our plug and play memberships make it easy for companies to flex as they grow, avoiding the uncertainties and overhead of traditional long-term leases," said ALX Community partner Kelly Grant in a news release. "This is a game changer for companies looking to invest capital in their core business and their employees rather than real estate."
The first ALX Community space opened in April 2018 about a block away at the Founders Hall building at 106 North Lee Street. The space features shared and private offices, communal space, a South Block juice bar, pop-up retail and more. The location houses over 80 small businesses and 170 members ranging from entrepreneurs to freelancers, financial professionals, and non-profit professionals. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
