Alexandria Daycare Owner Is 'America's Supernanny'
Show premiers on Lifetime cable television channel Tuesday at 9 p.m.
Alexandria’s own Deborah Tillman will be dealing with screaming children, inept parents and a host of other challenges on cable television Tuesday night.
Tillman is “America’s Supernanny.” Her show premieres on Lifetime at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the show’s website, Tillman will visit “the homes of parents throughout the U.S. who are seeking guidance and assistance on how to best raise their children. Diving straight into the chaos and heart of the matter, she gives viewers an all-access look at troubled households by closely observing each family dynamic to pinpoint their complicated problems and follow through to resolve their issues to put families on the road to happiness.”

Tillman owns Happy Home Child Learning Center in Alexandria, which has a location in on Duke Street in Old Town Alexandria, and additional locations on Seminary Road and in Woodbridge.
Tillman started Happy Home Child Learning Center after having several awful experiences with child care, according to the company’s website. She started as an in-home daycare provider before expanding her business. Her book, “Stepping Out on Faith: How to Open a Quality Childcare Center” was published in 2005.
