Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Parts of Northern Virginia
The weather statement was issued at 4:17 p.m. on Saturday by the National Weather Service and includes parts of Northern Virginia.
Parts of Northern Virginia are under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning from the National Weather Service Saturday.
Areas impacted include Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, Fairfax County, parts of Loudoun County and Fairfax City.

The weather service warns winds could gust up to 60 MPH causing some trees and large branches to fall. The NWS advises securing outdoor objects.
