Police to Address Fatal Shooting at Community Meeting
A man was shot Thursday night and died at the hospital, according to police. Police have not arrested any suspects.
The Alexandria Police Department will hold a community meeting Monday night at Charles Houston Recreation Center to address the Thursday night fatal shooting in the 700 block of N. Fayette Street. (See map for location of shooting.)
The meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m., is being held to address community concerns regarding the shooting that left a Woodbridge man dead.
Police are asking residents to come to the meeting to discuss the incident and to further communication between the police department and the community. The rec center is located at 901 Wythe St.
