Restaurant In Old La Bergerie Location To Hold Grand Opening
DIYA Indian Cuisine is open at the old Crilley Warehouse building.
ALEXANDRIA, VA—DIYA Indian Cuisine is now open at La Bergerie's old Crilley Warehouse location, 218 N Lee Street, second floor. A grand opening and ribbon cutting are set for Friday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m.-10 p.m.
The restaurant received approval from Alexandria City Council to open in March under the name Tandoori Nights. The name since changed to DIYA Indian Cuisine.
Menu offerings range from butter chicken to different types of curry and biryani. A lunch buffet is also available.

All are invited to the grand opening. Mayor Allison Silberberg and City Council members will be on hand for the ribbon cutting. Other festivities include live entertainment, a $6.99 dinner buffet, happy hour specials, wine tasting and prizes—TCL Smart TV as grand prize and Samsung Galaxy Tablet as second prize.
