ALEXANDRIA, VA—Old Town Alexandria's iconic Holiday Boat Parade of Lights is Saturday night. Look for the live feed below as the parade begins at 5:30 p.m.
Every year, boats get decked out with holiday lights to illuminate Alexandria's waterfront. 50 boats will line up for a parade along the waterfront before docking for judging. The nighttime parade comes the same day as the popular Scottish Christmas Walk Parade in Old Town.
In between the parade, festivities are going on from 2 p.m.-9 p.m. Santa arrived by fireboat at 3 p.m. and is meeting with children until 6 p.m. In addition, the Torpedo Factory Art Center is holding its annual Holiday Festival from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a holiday market and Christmas tunes by the Alexandria Choral Society Pro Coro and the Silver 5 Brass Quintet.
