Gruesome Details Emerge From Reston Murder Scene: Report

The couple shot and killed late last month reportedly were concerned their daughter was dating a neo-Nazi.

RESTON, VA -- Blood stains and bullet fragments could be found all throughout the Reston house where a couple was allegedly brutally murdered by a teenage boy who later turned the gun on himself, according to a new report. The suspect, a 17-year-old boy who continues to be unidentified by police, apparently came armed to the teeth, as investigators found 10 cartridge cases, a knife, and a hammer at the scene, according to The Washington Post. Police believe the boy murdered 48-year-old Scott Fricker and his wife, 43-year-old Buckley Kuhn-Fricker, when they confronted him after he sneaked into their daughter's bedroom early that morning.

The couple reportedly had banned their daughter from seeing the boy due to his neo-Nazi views. There were blood stains on the walls and floors, as well as bullet fragments and holes in the office, ceiling, and hallway, according to the Post report, which cited search warrants.

"The preliminary investigation determined the suspect, who knows the residents of the home, got inside and was then confronted by the couple," police said in a statement. "The suspect shot them both and then himself. Four other family members who were home at the time of the shooting were not hurt."

One of the search warrants quoted by the Post states that there had been communication between Buckley Kuhn-Fricker and the family of the suspect, which may have been a text to the suspect's mother saying the two could no longer date.

Investigators reportedly found gun parts, ammunition, and a gun box in the suspect's home in Lorton. He had been accused of mowing a 40-foot swastika in a community lot back in October. In a separate story, the Post reported that neighbors in Lorton regretted not reporting the swastika incident to the police. Tire marks from a riding mower ran straight to the home of the teen, according to a neighbor.

The teen currently remains in critical condition at the hospital, and as a result charges have not been processed yet, according to the Post.

NBC Washington interviewed Janet Kuhn, Buckley Kuhn-Fricker's mother, who said the parents were very concerned about statements made by the boyfriend.

"My daughter and her husband found out about a lot of the Nazi stuff just this past week, and they forbid their daughter to see him again," Kuhn said according to the report.

Kuhn-Fricker also reportedly posted the following Edmund Burke quote on Facebook hours before the shooting: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
