Police Respond to Sex Offense, Two Burglaries in Reston

Fairfax County Police were active in the Reston Police District Thursday, responding to three separate calls throughout the day.

One Reston resident walking along Crest Park Drive near Town Center Drive Thursday afternoon contacted police and reported a man riding a bicycle approached from behind and touched the victim inappropriately before fleeing the scene.

Police are continuing to search for suspects.

A Reston business owner also contacted police Thursday regarding a burglary inside their business and the theft of a 2013 Honda Civic.

The business is located on the 11700 block of Decade Court, and police are still investigating the case and searching for the stolen vehicle.

Police also responded to a burglary at a residence on the 11400 block of Washington Plaza.
