RA Board President Graves to Log 2016-17 Budget Process

The board will hold its second budget work session on Sept. 16, and will live stream that meeting on YouTube.

In an effort to maintain transparency with its members, RA Board President Ellen Graves announced before last month’s budget meeting that she would regularly blog about the process of determining RA’s 2016-17 budget.

Those blog entries can be found here the Perspective page on the RA website. Graves will update how the board pieces together the budget, which areas of the budget it gives a greater focus, and what is discussed in each budget planning meeting.

The RA Board will hold its second budget work session tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 16, beginning at 6 p.m. at the RA offices on Sunrise Valley Drive. That meeting will also be live streamed on YouTube here for interested RA members.

Graves will likely publish another blog post in the days following the meeting.

Graves said in her last post that RA CEO Cate Fulkerson has already assured the board that no operating or facilities renovation costs associated with the recent acquisition of Tetra property purchase will be factored into the 2016 or 2017 budgets.
