Troop #1205 is working with a new organization that opened in October 2010 called Jill’s House.   Located in At McLean Bible Church in Vienna,  Jill’s House serves boys and girls, ages6 -17, with intellectual disabilities. Jill's House welcome them as weekend guests, allowing their parents to get a needed break.

Jill’s House is the brainchild of Lon and Brenda Solomon, Jill’s parents, who had their own personal experience with needing respite care.  Lon is the senior pastor of McLean Bible Church.

The troop made fleece blankets to donate to Jill’s House, and they will be volunteering for shifts with the guests to do arts and crafts and other activities.
