Here are the top stories today in Roanoke:
- Police are investigating after a woman's body was found in Roanoke County at the 8800 block of Brush Mountain Road. The body was found around 2 p.m. yesterday and the details are still emerging as to who she was and the cause of death. (WSLS 10)
- The Berglund Center Craft & Vendor Show is returning for its sixth year with 244 different vendors from up and down the east coast. The two-day show will be on Dec. 3 (11 a.m. - 8 p.m.) and Dec. 4 (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.). Admission is free. (WDBJ7)
- The restaurant and hospitality industry is struggling to bounce back in Roanoke and across Virginia. In 2019, the Roanoke Valley region was on track to reach $1 billion in the next 2-3 years, but the pandemic changed that trajectory drastically.
