Freedom Festival and Fireworks 2025 in Roanoke

The Freedom Festival and Fireworks 2025 event will take place July 3 starting at 4 p.m. and lasting until 9:30 p.m., which is when the fireworks will start. 

The fun all happens at River's Edge Park North, 302 Wiley Drive SW Between Franklin & Jefferson Street, in Roanoke. The fun zone will be open from 4 to 9:30 p.m. with inflatables, trampolines and more. There will be food trucks, beer and wine for sale.

NEW THIS YEAR: The Virginia American Revolution 250 Commission will be bringing their Mobile Museum Experience, a hands-on, interactive and immersive “museum on wheels,” the VA250 Mobile Museum Experience titled “Out of Many, One” is housed in a quad-expandable tractor trailer that is traveling throughout Virginia and beyond. The mobile museum brings key stories of Virginia’s rich history to schools, museums, local events, fairs and more, highlighting every region of the state.
