Here are the top three stories today in Roanoke:
- A unique car display at the Salem Civic Center will be benefitting the Family Service of the Roanoke Valley. The event will be free to the public with a $25 vehicle entry fee. According to the event organizers, over 150 unique cars will be on display. The event is on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (WSLS 10)
- Dr. Cynthia Morrow of the Roanoke City - Alleghany Health Districts reports that COVID cases in Roanoke are increasing. According to the doctor, hospitalizations have risen from three to 11 within the last week. The virus has also shown an increase in wastewater detection samples. (WDBJ)
- Blues Traveler postponed their Roanoke concert through an announcement made on Facebook Wednesday afternoon. The band was supposed to perform tonight at Dr. Pepper Park but will need to be rescheduled due to illness. Refunds will become available once a new date is confirmed. (WSLS 10)
