  1. The Roanoke Police Department is investigating a string of car break-ins. According to the department, cars on Valley View Boulevard Northwest and Ordway Drive were robbed on Saturday night leading into Sunday morning. Anyone with information related to the robberies is being instructed to contact the department. (WDBJ)
  2. The first Celtic Fest on the Hill was hosted by Roanoke Catholic School on Saturday. The free event was held after the city's St. Patrick's Day Parade and was held indoors due to the weather. The event had bagpipers, professional bands, a Craft Beer Garden, and food trucks. (WDBJ)
  3. Roanoke County's redistricting proposal is currently being considered by county officials. The most notable changes are Vinton District absorbing some of Hollins District and the addition of voting precincts to various magisterial districts. According to officials with the county, the redistricting must maintain equal populations across the districts within a 5 percent deviation. (Roanoke Times)
