  1. A Roanoke City Schools bus driver has been removed from their route after a Westside Elementary school student was let off the bus without a guardian present earlier this week. The child had an orange tag on his backpack meaning a guardian must be present at his stop for him to get off the bus. The child's mother is speaking out about the incident so this doesn't happen again. (WDBJ7)
  2. A local Roanoke florist has announced that they have been selected to serve as a volunteer holiday decorator at the White House. Creative Occasions Events Flowers & Gifts, located in Vinton, will help design the White House Christmas tree and other displays for the 2021 holiday season. (WSLS 10)
  3. The Salvation Army in Roanoke needs volunteers to bell-ring at its red kettles. There are around 23 locations this year across the Roanoke Valley, where they need volunteers to collect donations at red kettles. You can volunteer for a half or full-day.(WDBJ7)
  4. The license of a Roanoke attorney has been revoked over a heated financial dispute. (Roanoke Times)
