City Of Roanoke: City Prepares For Impact Of Hurricane Ida Remnants

The City of Roanoke, in working with our local partners, has pre-set barricades near street locations that are considered at-risk, from the remnants of Hurricane Ida that are expected to pass through our area over the next 28 hours. The entire region remains in a Flash Flood Watch. The Roanoke City Emergency Management Team will remain in contact with the National Weather Service and Virginia Department of Emergency Management as our region remains prepared.

- 9th & 10th and Campbell
- Both sides of Shaffers X-ing
- Cravens Creek & Deyerle
- Cravens Creek & Crestmoor
- Wise & Indian Village
- Vale & Kermit
- Vale & Gus Nicks
- Baldwin & Tuck
- Tuck & Eastern
- 13th & Eastern
Updates will be provided to the public through the City’s website and on the City’s social media platforms in response to local weather conditions.
