The regular meeting of the Mill Mountain Advisory Board will not be held in September. The next meeting is scheduled for Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. in the Mill Mountain Discovery Center, 2000 L.B. Fishburn Parkway SW. The Mill Mountain Advisory Board acts in an advisory capacity to advise City Council regarding:

- Appropriate maintenance and improvements of Mill Mountain Park;
- Conservation, preservation, or development proposals that may be presented to City Council regarding the conservation easement property that may be permitted pursuant to the terms of the conservation easement;
- Amendments that may be proposed to be made to the conservation easement that are presented to Council; and
- Proposed development that may be presented to City Council within the excluded property, unless City Council creates an Ad Hoc Committee.
